Grace
I have a ticker on the front page that shows how much Grace has raised, $52 so far.
WOW! The bidding has ended on e-bay…….$22 and $10.50 coming in to CMA, Awesome! Thank you so much!
Ok, Grace is trying to raise some money to donate to Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Florida. We are visiting there in August and we’ll give them the money then. They have a rehab facility, and rescue operation. The star of their Dolphin show, Winter, was rescued and they thought she might die because her tail was severed. They had to help her swim without a tail and that kind of worked, but a scientist came up with a prosthetic tail for her and now she swims in a show! They also have turtles, otters, stingrays and we’re going on the behind the scenes tour where you get to see the food prep area, rehab tanks and stuff. Anyway I’m not sure how this will work, ‘cuz I don’t want to print my address on here, but if you shoot me an e-mail (liesecarberry@hotmail.com) and tell me which pic you want I’ll mail it to you and then you can mail Grace your donation.

Why People Shouldn’t Climb On Counters
When people climb on counters and stand straight up they will fall off and break their arm. You have to go to 2 doctors then. The doctors that I’ve always been to and the new kid’s doctors. It really hurt and I cried when I fell. My friend Jake, who is 7, heard me all the way to his house. Sometimes my arm itches inside the cast and I can’t scratch inside my cast. I had to go and get an x-ray and then they put a splint on my arm until morning. When I went to the new kid’s doctors they looked at it and put a blue cast on. It was going to be pink, but then I picked blue. My mom put sparkles on it and my friends signed it. But, you should never climb on a counter, ever, not even if you like sparkles!
Whales
A little girl named Grace went to the ocean and looked at the whales. Grace pretended she was in the ocean swimming with them. She swam with them and then jumped out of the water and landed with a big splash. She tried some plankton, it was great. The whales thought it was good too.
Grace went down in the deep dark with a whale and saw 5 whales around it. Then there were 6 whales, because Grace was a whale too. She came up from the deep and swam and swam until she reached a cold sea. There were icebergs floating around. But Grace and the other whales didn’t have to worry, their blubber kept them warm. Grace squeaked and clicked telling the other whales she had to go home. They said bye and then Grace was back at the ocean looking at the waves.
