18

Yep, it’s finally here.

The boy has his selective service card and he can vote.

He has a pilot’s license.

He graduated high school last December.

He is working on his EMT cert at ACC.

He is 18 today and we are very proud of him.

Today we’ll take him to Pancho’s for a birthday lunch and Gramps is taking him shooting at the range. We’ll have a little cake and celebrate. It’s time for him to fly out on his own, that’s a little scary, but at the same time – a little thrilling.

Psalm 20:4-5 (NIV)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

Jeremiah 29:11 (The Message)

10-11 This is God’s Word..”I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised…I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you….plans to give you the future you hope for.
