This morning before we started on school I went over some grammar with the girls and then they played the sentence game. Grace was writing subjects while Bethany wrote predicates, Hannah wrote subjects while I wrote predicates. Then we matched up the pieces of paper to make silly sentences like:
The pink swan ate an extra large pizza.
A killer whale showed up and blew his nose.
The slow computer went running by the lake.
Grandma knitted a sweater because the sparkly sweater stank.
My Dad flew over a nest.
Quick practice with nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and more. Grace and Bethany had a unit math test to do and they both made an ‘A’. Bethany actually has a 98 in Algebra, no other subjects have ‘grades’, they score you on tests but give out a completed/not completed score overall. I have to go make some lunch so I can get outta here for the photo shoot, looks like a nice day for outdoor senior photos.
That went well! Here are a few shots of B and K, seniors (and twins.)
