Squirrel!

Not just one, but two! They were down in the yard and Maisy was oblivious, until we tapped on the glass and alerted to the fact that her squirrels were here to play.

Two of them should keep Maisy entertained for awhile. The squirrels like to sit on opposite sides of the fence and have Maisy chase after them as they lead her from one end of the yard to the other.

We call that free entertainment and exercise.

Yesterday I let the girls skip school and we got the house back to normal, really for all the people in and out Monday, it wasn’t that bad. The band had some people with them who helped out with tear down and they cleaned up the whole front yard (thank you) and my friends did the dishes (thank you), so really I just had to move furniture back and sweep – oh and wash the sidewalk chalk off (and then it rained, of course.)

Today we’re headed out to the park and then to NREL for a BBQ for their 35th anniversary. We get to tour where James works and have dinner – sweet! Tomorrow it’s free day at the Botanic gardens and Friday is school, errands and ortho appointments. Saturday is Heavenfest – WOO-HOO!
