I was inspired by a worship song we sang. Poetry is like a song without music, this one reads more like a song.
1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never fails.
God’s love never fails
it is as abundant as the sea,
His love never fails
no, it never runs out on me.
His love is wide,
His love is tall,
His love is free,
for one and all.
God’s love is always there
available to me,
God’s love never fails
draw close to Him and see.
His love is wide,
His love is tall,
His love is free,
for one and all.
God’s love and mercy
cover a multitude of sin,
His love never fails
for a heart that is broken.
His love is wide,
His love is tall,
His love is free,
for one an all.

After church I cleaned the house a bit and told the kids to try not to make a mess. One thing about having a radio station and band coming over to your house is that it makes you do those things you were putting off….like weeding the front flower bed…and putting flowers in them…and putting that shutter back on the house that flew off in the last windstorm, so it’s all good. A friend said she’d be cleaning like crazy if this many people were coming to her house, I said God made dirt and dirt don’t hurt (and then started cleaning the bathroom. Dirt may not hurt, but who wants a dirty bathroom?)
So, that’s the deal. I have no idea how many people are going to show up tomorrow, 40, 60, 100? But, it’s all cool because the more that show up, the more that hear that God loves them and His love never fails.
