Bethany and I are working on some art for an upcoming art show. She’s doing a zentangle leaf and using her receipts (it’s a show that has to have items in the art that are reused.) I am doing pi in art. Look at this cool start, this is computer paper from the teacher store, I have no idea what it was used for, testing, grading, time keeping, who knows.
I just know that it is now pi to 13 places and no matter where you start with the 3 you can hop diagonally and find the next number (or just cheat by looking straight down the left or right side.)
Pretty cool! I have no idea how this piece will turn out, I just know this is one part of it. Bethany has been waiting to do a piece of art with her receipt papers, we just need to go get some light paper for the leaf, she wants you to be able to see the receipts under the leaf. Also we got started on a project for tomorrow morning. We’re trying to win a concert with Sidewalk Prophets and we have to make a chalk art invitation for them: we’re on it!
