Ice cream and art

After church we went by Bonnie Brae for ice cream, it was good, but not as good as Little man’s.
I know that I told the guys there was an art festival in Cherry creek today, all they heard was Cherry creek, you should have seen Joel’s face when we pulled up – art?! We got out and wandered around the festival. We saw a very cool booth with sepia toned photographs/art and another booth that had art that was interactive, you pull a lever or press a button and the art moves or uncovers things in the piece. Hannah liked all of the glass pieces.
A lot of the artists were not from Colorado, which was kind of interesting.
Next week we have a new festival – new to us anyway. We’ve had no rain yet, but it was cloudy all day. What’s up this week: school, hiking, cupcake making, a print-making lecture, a birthday party, a festival and a museum outing.
