HOMEschooling doesn't mean you always have to be HOME!
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson
In structure there is freedom.

The Colorado Adventure

Fly girls

Guess who went flying with Daddy this morning?

Just Grace and Bethany, Hannah is showing off her best ‘I want to go too’ stance in this pic.

The plane was already de-iced, yay! So after a few pics we left and I gave the camera to Bethany. James said he was taking up ‘precious cargo’ and after they landed he said, ‘Thank you for flying Daddy airlines.’ Here are Bethany’s shots, you can see how snowy the taxiway was.

And if you can’t see, here is a pic of runway 17 L and 17 R and the tower.

They did a few touch and go’s and then a full stop.

We picked up the gang and headed up to Ft. Collins to walk their downtown district.

I found a neat old bookstore in a coffee shop.

We went into a store full of cool gift ideas and tree trimmers.

We went into a clothing shop, dog shop, metal arts shop and Starbucks. We saw these really tall bikes outside a shop, we wished we could have seen the owners ride them.

Hannah found a toy shop and ran inside.

She liked the hats.

We saw a really cool block set with blocks decorated like they are from China, Rome or Egypt – see them here.

We saw a few historic buildings and here’s Grace spying a chance to throw a snowball.

Then we packed up and headed home while the sun set behind Long’s peak.
