Mall
We decided to get out and go to the mall tonight.
We decided that last night too, but they were closed. l think it’s funny that 12” of snow closes the mall, but 24” keeps it open. There were about ½ the stores not open though. So we pulled out of the driveway, doesn’t our house look like a gingerbread house covered in frosting?
We checked the mail and got on the freeway.
Our street was plowed, yay! I think HR must have paid for snow plowing because of the fuss they received during the 2006 months long blizzards. We had a rutty one lane street for months, anyway we went slow on the freeway. This guy must have not seen the sign – SLOW is what it says.
There were far fewer spun out cars tonight though (and only 2 UPS trucks.)
We ate and walked around the mall checking out the stores. The drive home was a little worse than the drive there, but we made it home. Here’s the little house in the backyard.
Here is why we park in the garage.
Tomorrow is volunteer/story time day at the library, presentation club was cancelled and we are going sledding.
Check out the things to do in Denver if you just have nothing planned for this weekend, lots of fun stuff going on on Sunday.
