We're a busy Homeschooling family of 6. We think every day needs to be an adventure - so wake up and get moving!

HOMEschooling doesn't mean you always have to be HOME!
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson

Fireworks last night!

The kids started out the day by taking Grandma to Wal-mart so they could spend all of her money. A lot of money later we headed home to relax and enjoy the spoils of Wal-mart. After lunch we headed over to the Museum of dolls and miniatures. We made pom-pom animals and then wandered through the house.

This was our 2nd visit to the cottage. It was built in 1899 and still has the original leaded glass windows in the dining room.

We saw the 1700’s German doll houses, china dolls, and the mini circus.

We got to hear the Nickelodeon play a tune while the dolls danced below the metal turntable.

Grace played the Mario game and she got how to play it this time.

Joel got the high score though. We stopped in the gift shop and then took some pictures outside the house.

Then we headed over to the movies to see X-men and Land of the Lost. My 2 cents is that Land of the Lost would be better if they cut out 90% of the cussing, the girls didn’t really notice though. We came home to a good dinner and the playing of Webkinz (the girls got new ones.)
