3rd day of 9th grade

Well, that’s better. Joel is sitting at his desk after doing the touch typing program and is on history. Next is math and I love the on-line textbook because it not only has the answers, but the solutions to the problems. That way if he gets a problem wrong, he can see the steps and see where he messed up, not that he’s needed it yet. The first part of any new course is review and so far the algebra is going over fractions (+-X/) LCD, GCF and simplifying them. Bethany is finishing up Swiss Family, Grace is doing money in math (and playing money bingo.) As an added incentive to read out loud she gets to have a whale book read to her or play a whale game when she’s done reading, which is genuinely painful and frustrating for her right now.

We have a HS meet up at MCd’s today and I have to get ready for my Greece co-op tomorrow (I still need a big cardboard box.)
